释义	equalization 均［平］衡(法);［等化］ The generic term for the process of correcting undesired transmission characteristics of a channel. In line transmission, for example, signal attenuation normally increases with frequency. Equalization in this case can consist of the insertion in the line of one or more networks having the inverse amplitude/frequency characteristics, so that over a desired frequency band the overall attenuation of the line is made substantially constant. 一种通用术语,指对信道不希望的传输特性进行校正的处理过程,例如线传输时,信号的衰减一般随频率而增加,在这种情况下进行均衡可以在线路中插入一个或多个网络,它们具有相反的幅频特性。这样,在整个频带内的线路衰减就近似为常数了。
