释义	viewdata 可视数据；［可视资料］ 1. A public name for a type of interactive text service originally developed by the British Post Office. The public name has come to represent the generic name for a twoway TV product, even though there are many competing variations. The basic British viewdata system uses an adapted TV set with a telephone connection and a remote control switch box that looks like a pocket calculator. Viewers press numbers to call for pages of travel information, business information, retail advertising, or constantly updated news.
