| 释义 | direct-view storage display 直观存储显示 A display where graphics information is stored in the phosphor of the CRT screen. The technique of scanning works like that of vector scanning, with the beam of the CRT describing geometric end points and connecting them. It has high-resolution capability and low flicker content. The drawbacks are that color capability is limited, and erasure is not selective. If a part of the display has to be erased, the entire display must be erased.
