释义	bit and symbol timing 位和符号定时(信号) A signal generated by a digital countdown chain driven by a crystal oscillator. By adding or deleting count pulses at a higher frequency point in the chain, the phase of the timing can be adjusted in steps of a small fraction of the symbol interval. The symbol timing can thus be phase-locked to some property of the received symbols. If the demodulated symbols occur as a baseband wave, the instants of transition through the decision thresholds can be used for the phase lock. 一种由晶体振荡器驱动的数字递减计数链产生的定时信号。在链的高频点增加或删除几个计数脉冲,可将定时相位按符号间隔的一小部分分步调节。因此,符号定时可对所接收到的符号的某种特性进行锁相,如果解调符号作为基波出现,则可用通过判定门限变换的瞬刻来锁相。
