In mathematics, an algebra for expressing logical relationships between truth values. Named after George Boole, the famous English mathematician and logician. Associated with such logical operators as AND,OR,NOT,EXCEPT,IF...THEN...etc., which permits computations and demonstrations as in any other mathematical system.
数学中,用以表示两个真假值间逻辑关系的一种代数。它以英国著名数学家及逻辑学家 乔治·布尔的名字命名。有关的逻辑运算符有:AND,OR,NOT,EXCEPT,IF...THEN...等,允许 象其它数学系统一样进行计算和证明。 |
