释义	weak bit 弱位 In software protection, a technique in which bits with intermediate polarization values between those of a binary one and a binary zero are prerecorded onto a master floppy disk, along with the software to be protected. When a weak bit is read, the disk controller will sometimes interpret it as a one and sometimes as a zero. A special test program will check for this statistical variation by reading the sector concerned several times and hence determining if a master disk is being used.If a weak bit is read and then copied across to another disk, along with the protected program, it will be written as a true binary digit, and the test program will not detect any variation, in consecutive reads, and therefore concludes that a copy is being used; it will then prevent the program from being executed. 软件保护中的一种保护技术，即先把具有介于二进制1与二进制0之间的中间极性值的各位和要保护的软件一起记录到主软盘上。当读到一个弱位时，磁盘控制器有时解释为1，有时解释为0，一个特殊的测试程序以读多次相关磁道的办法检查这种统计差异，从而判断使用的是否是主盘。如果读出一个弱位并将其连同被保护的程序一起复制到另一张盘上，它将以一个真正的二进制值写入，则测试程序不能检查出任何差异，于是判断使用了一个副本，因而拒绝执行程序。
