释义	small system software monitor 小系统软件监控程序;［小系统软件监督程式］ A program that provides the user with certain maintenance and debugging functions which would normally be provided in a limited way on systems that include a control panel. The “monitor” is included on diskette with many small computers. The monitor is intended to be used in conjunction with the various Disk Operating Systems (DOS). Commands to the monitor are entered into the system via the terminal, using a format consistent with the DOS commands.
